Bayani Art attended the Rock The Mic for Human Rights on June 2nd, 2018. The event was hosted by AninoKo at Bindlestiff Studios in San Francisco, California. This five hour long event was a benefit show for the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines, also known as ICHRP. Earlier this year ICHRP-USA released an album titled Rock the MIC for Human Rights…Stop the Killings to create music that raises awareness of the injustices happening in the Philippines. The album consisted of various Filipino artists coming together to bring awareness to the human rights violations happening in the Philippines. These artists include Power Struggle, Shining Sons, Bootleg Orchestra, Kiwi, Pat Racela, and Sharif. Bayani Art understands that history should be a tool to empower the Filipino people to fight against injustices happening today. We supports organizations such as ICHRP that works towards serving the community back in the motherland.
