Hi Everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am currently writing and publishing a four book series that’ll celebrate the story of each Bayani, LAPU LAPU, GABRIELA SILANG, ANDRES BONIFACIO, and JOSE RIZAL. I hope to connect brown youth to their roots through this project. By supporting this project, you can help be a part of something truly special. People of different backgrounds can benefit from this book. We hope people become inspired by learning the resilient history of our ancestors. I hope to spark the imagination & inspire the future generation of leaders. This book will allow kids to envision themselves as a part of these stories, encouraging a deeper understanding of history from different perspectives and the outcomes of strength. We have a right to learn our history that was taken away from us — a history that acknowledges all we have accomplished.
Through these books, there are common themes that enrich ones’ perception; that is, what we love, we will protect and what we learn, we must share. We need to look at our past to understand the present and shape our future. As we learn about historical colonialism and oppression, we’re able to connect it to injustices happening today. This book can have a fun, profound, and positive affect on a child, and with the amazing artwork we promise to provide, you will be able to see how beautifully represented the story of each Bayani will be and how important their contributions are to this life. I would be honored to have your support, please share this with your family, friends, and communities. I hope this book will take part in bringing brown representation in our school curriculum. Any money donated will help us bring this book to fruition. Your donation of any amount will go even further to help children be inspired by the story about our ancestors and ensure their legacy is continued.
Please help support the Project:

Princess Purmassuri of Sulu is known for her exceptional bravery. whose leadership and cunning was indirectly responsible for the Spaniards’ not gaining a foothold in Moroland. Purmassuri’s story proves that Filipina women are ready and willing to sacrifice for the freedom of their native land.
This skate deck design means a lot to me because it signifies so much in my life. This piece brought new inspiration and meaning to my art, and that is something I’ve been searching for for many years. So when I was presented with this opportunity I quickly went to the drawing board and poured my heart out. I wanted this piece to inspire our young pinays to be proud of their heritage, proud of their skin color and proud of everything that is “us” being filipino. So this piece represents our sisters from the Southern area of our homeland in the Mindanao area and she is Purmassuri a brave princess of Sulu who was very beautiful who’s heart was strong and dominant so much as so to lead the spaniards to their destruction. So working with Bayani and Illa Manila was a natural step to take, I hope to whomever receives this board to be proud and be inspired to help and educate others of the beauty and power of our filipino women.
