On April 4, 2019 San Francisco State celebrated its 16th anniversary of its Filipino mural. The event was planned by SF State’s Mula Sa Ugat, a coalition between the Filipino organizations at SFSU. Bayani Art along with other Filipino vendors and organizations celebrated this event. The celebration consisted of several performances and speakers including: Barangay Dance Company, Pat Racela, Versoul Music, Ugat Clothing, and Dr. Valerie Francisco.
