On March 21, 2015 Bayani Art did a workshop for our second year at Stanford University for PASU (Pilipino American Student Union). A Filipino organization that spreads the knowledge and Filipino culture. So it was cool that we got to connect with them and share some knowledge. Our workshop’s goal was to teach the importance of the Philippine Revolution and how the people worked together to defeat the oppressors. We also brought along a couple of relics from the Philippine revolution era such as a bolo, a cedula, and the original Noli Me Tangere. They were able to pick up some of our Bayani Art gear in which some of the profits went towards the Alvarado Middle School name change into Philip Veracruz in commemoration of the two filipino labor union leaders. It was fun getting to see all the familiar faces and some new ones at our workshop and hopefully we get to see them next again next year.
