This summer from the 19th of July 2016 was hosted by GSBA USA at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort where the GSBA World Championship took place on the beautiful island of Hawaii. The Bayaniart team is blessed to have been apart of this tournament. There were five days of non-stop competing across multiple events. It Included Double Stick, Single Stick, Multi / Open Padded Weapon and also Padded Stick. The Aloha spirit and energy of Hawaii created an enriching experience, creating memories; and it definitely hit home. We need hope to present not only the traditional function, but as a team develop a space of cultural and social exchange and build bridges that we did from The Bay Area to Hawaii. This was an incredibly moving experience.To all of the people We connected with, Thankyou for welcoming us with open arms and hope to be back soon! Thankyou GSBA and the entire team for making it possible for us to end our summer, We are truly humbled by the experience, stories, and continuous blessings you left along our journey. The signs were to be unmistakeably obvious but yet timed so perfectly, until next time Hawaii! ALOHA!
