Bayaniart attended the LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION on Saturday, February 27th, 11am – 3pm at Oakland, CA (OACC) Oakland Asian Cultural Center hosted the event showcasing the performances, vendors, and arts/crafts. We hope to present not only the traditional function, but as a team develop a space of cultural and social exchange that is critical in this diverse community. We are humbled to have participated in this event and had the opportunity to donate a portion of the proceeds to the rebuilding of the Cambodian Buddhist temple in Oakland that recently burned down. Thankyou (OACC) for all that you do and continue to build vibrant communities for Asian and Pacific Islander American and culture programs. Until next time, and Happy Year of the fire monkey!
