The year 2015 is coming to a close, and there was no better way to cap off the year making our way to Chicago. As we prepare for the big day, the great team of Filipino Kitchen invited us in with open arms. Special Thank You to Team Filipino Kitchen for everything. From the day we set foot in Chicago to Building and investing heritage through sustainable food And influencing the community to support a healthier, more culturally conscious, and tasty food system. We are honored to have shared this experience in Chicago with the vendors, chefs, artist, DJ’s, team Kultura, Filipino Kitchen and the especially the community. The Kultura Kristmas Market was a success! The team did a awesome job turning Emporium Arcade Bar into a “palengke” (holiday market), including vendors like Bayani Art, CampHunt, and Botas 66 USA showcasing the unique crafts and products promoting culture, live entertainment, as well as focused food and drinks. The Kultura Kristmas Market brings it all together, in a celebration of Filipino cuisine, culture, and community and the contributions to The Greater Chicago Food Depository, and the families they serve. It’s incredible to see so much support from the Philippine community in Chicago. Once again special thank you Team Filipino Kitchen for all that you do and thank you for showing Team Bayani Art a wonderful time in Chicago and for taking us in like family.
