“Remember our place?” is an event hosted by URBAN x INDIGENOUS, a group of scholars, artists, activists, and community members gathered to honor their ancestors. “Remember our place?” speaks to the struggles of native peoples being forced out of their lands. Through performances, visual arts exhibitions, and cyphers , URBAN x INDIGENOUS will uncover the state of the Pilipino community’s displacement in San Francisco and draw parallels to the struggle back in the Philippines.
