Pancho Villa ★ World Champion
Francisco Guilledo also known as Pancho Villa was born on August 1st, 1901 in Illog, Negros Occidental. He moved to Manila to find a better job and met Frank Churchill, the owner of Olympic Club gym. He was the first Asian fighter to win the flyweight championship of the world in 1921 at the height of racism. His six-year career boasts a record of 90-8-4 before his death at 23. Today, he is regarded as one of the greatest Asian fighter to ever live.
